BYREDO

BYREDO PARFUMS is a Swedish fragrance brand founded by Ben Gorham in Stockholm in 2006. With a background in fine art, Gorham discovered fragrance as a new way to translate memories, people and meaningful moments into sensory form. As a result, storytelling and emotion became as important to BYREDO as the materials themselves.

Gorham had no traditional training as a perfumer, which gave him the freedom to approach fragrance from an unconventional perspective. Working with accomplished perfumers, he transformed personal memories, travel and cultural references into distinctive olfactory compositions.

BYREDO's style is shaped by the tension between Scandinavian restraint and bold artistic expression. Its fragrances can feel clean and transparent, soft and floral, or darker, woody and sensual. Even richer compositions often retain a sense of clarity, simplicity and modernity.
