CHLOE

Chloé was created in Paris in 1952 by Gaby Aghion as an alternative to the rigid formality of traditional haute couture. Born in Egypt, Aghion wanted to create luxurious clothing that women could actually wear with ease and freedom in everyday life. This idea helped make Chloé one of the early pioneers of luxury ready-to-wear. Relaxed silhouettes, fine fabrics and a sense of movement became central to the house from the beginning.

During the 1950s and 1960s, Chloé even presented collections in cafés on Paris's Rive Gauche, surrounded by artists and the city's emerging creative culture. Major designers later contributed to the house, but Aghion's original vision remained: femininity as freedom, movement and individuality.

Fragrance entered the Chloé universe in the 1970s and became a natural extension of this romantic and liberated femininity. Its atmosphere remains soft, bohemian, elegant and unmistakably Parisian.
