Clive Christian is a British high-perfumery house whose modern story began in 1999, when designer Clive Christian acquired the historic Crown Perfumery Company. That company's heritage dated back to 1872, when Queen Victoria granted it permission to use the image of her crown on its bottles. The crown remains a defining symbol of Clive Christian today.

Clive Christian's ambition went beyond simply reviving an old name. He sought to bring the richness and complexity of Victorian perfumery into contemporary haute parfumerie, placing particular emphasis on fine ingredients, concentration and compositional depth. The historic archives continue to provide inspiration for modern creations.
