ELIE SAAB

The fragrance story of ELIE SAAB began in 2011 with a desire to translate the designer's world of light, refinement and sensuality into scent. For the first creation, Elie Saab collaborated with perfumer Francis Kurkdjian, bringing together personal memories of Lebanon and the sophistication of contemporary French perfumery.

Beirut, a Mediterranean city filled with warmth and sunlight, became one of the strongest sources of inspiration. Elie Saab particularly remembered the scent of orange blossoms surrounding his childhood home, an impression that later became an important element of the brand's olfactory language. Light itself remains a recurring idea — radiant, warm and emotionally expressive.

White florals, jasmine and orange blossom frequently meet woods, patchouli, rose, musk, amber and sweeter facets. These contrasts allow the fragrances to balance luminous freshness with warmer sensual depth. The brand itself describes its fragrance universe through the meeting of Eastern splendor and Western modernity.

Over time, ELIE SAAB has expanded beyond its luminous floral foundations into rose, fruity, sweet, woody and richer interpretations. In 2025, the house also introduced its first masculine fragrance direction, built around a contemporary combination of vetiver, woods and spices.

ELIE SAAB perfumery brings Mediterranean light and Lebanese sensuality into dialogue with Parisian refinement. Radiant florals, warm woody depth and the balance between Eastern and Western influences create an elegant, richly textured and distinctly emotional fragrance identity.
