EMANUEL UNGARO

Emanuel Ungaro is a French fashion house with Italian family roots. Emanuel Ungaro was born in France to an Italian tailor and moved to Paris while still young. A crucial part of his creative education came through working with Cristóbal Balenciaga, where he absorbed the rigor of couture, precision of construction and a demanding approach to perfection. In 1965, Ungaro founded his own Parisian house, combining this technical discipline with a much more colorful and sensual imagination.

Ungaro became known for fearless combinations of color, prints, polka dots, draping, ruffles and contrasting textures. Femininity in his world was never restricted to quiet good taste; it could be passionate, decorative, dynamic and deliberately exuberant. The fragrance universe naturally extends this personality, bringing French sophistication together with Southern sensuality and expressive glamour.
