EON Productions entered the fragrance world in 2012 as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of the James Bond film franchise. The British company set out to translate the confidence, understated sophistication, adventure and mystery associated with Agent 007 into scent. The original fragrance direction was developed in collaboration with Procter & Gamble and professional perfumers.

The early compositions drew on the heritage of classical masculine perfumery while giving it a more contemporary character. Bergamot, apple, lavender, cardamom, vetiver, sandalwood, moss and other woody and aromatic facets created a clean, confident and slightly dark impression. The concept deliberately echoed British masculine style of the 1960s while modernizing its traditional structure.

The olfactory palette later became considerably broader. Masculine releases explored citrus, spices, leather, woods and warmer sweet facets, while the feminine direction introduced rose, jasmine, fruits, vanilla, musk and soft woods. This allowed the 007 universe to be expressed not only through strength and restraint, but also through sensuality, seduction and mystery.

A defining feature of EON Productions fragrances is their close connection to the cultural image of James Bond. Bottle design, dark tones and metallic details have also drawn inspiration from the secret agent's gadgets, automobiles and distinctly British aesthetic. Fragrance therefore becomes an extension of the cinematic universe, translating its atmosphere into an olfactory experience.
