Jimmy Choo is a British luxury accessories house officially established in 1996 by Tamara Mellon and shoemaker Jimmy Choo. Sandra Choi also joined the business from its earliest days as a founding director and has overseen design for much of the house's history. The brand grew from the culture of an East London bespoke shoe atelier, combining artisanal craftsmanship, an understanding of the female silhouette and evening glamour with a modern fashion-business model.

Jimmy Choo developed an especially strong relationship with red-carpet dressing, film, music and celebrity culture. The house itself now describes the brand as having transcended fashion to become a pop-cultural phenomenon. Fragrance is therefore a natural extension of the same aesthetic: scent can perform much the same role as a dramatic shoe, changing posture, increasing confidence and creating a memorable entrance.
