From the precision of leather craftsmanship to the colour and scent of plants, LOEWE approaches fragrance through a deep fascination with materials. The artisanal culture of the house, founded in Madrid in 1846, eventually extended into perfumery, and in 1972 LOEWE introduced its first women's fragrance, opening a new chapter of international fragrance development.

Nature has become one of the defining inspirations of contemporary LOEWE Perfumes. Flowers, green plants, citrus, aromatic herbs, woods, resins and earthy facets are treated not simply as ingredients, but as sources of colour, texture and emotion. A central figure in this language is LOEWE's in-house perfumer Núria Cruelles. She combines technical knowledge of chemistry and perfumery with an instinctive ability to visualize scent through colour and shape. Her approach often gives classical perfume materials a contemporary twist, while Spanish landscapes and the Mediterranean environment remain recurring sources of inspiration.

LOEWE is particularly defined by the meeting of craftsmanship and experimentation. In 2025, LOEWE entered a new creative chapter under Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, while Núria Cruelles continues to play a central role in its fragrance creation.
