Maison Francis Kurkdjian is a modern fragrance house that has managed to achieve the almost impossible—becoming a living legend. The name comes from its founder, a French perfumer of Armenian heritage, who embodies the realization of all the bold ideas inspired by his limitless imagination.
Before founding his own brand in 2009, he was already a shining star in the world of perfumery. He had worked with some of the most powerful names in the fashion industry, such as Jean-Paul Gaultier, Elizabeth Arden, and many others. For them, Francis created fragrances that later became bestsellers and true calling cards of those brands.
In his childhood, he was surrounded by art. His parents were singers in a church choir and hoped to educate him in music, recognizing his evident talents. He also studied classical dance and piano. Although he enjoyed all of it, nothing compared to the art of perfumery, which he discovered at the age of 15. This passion eventually led him to the Versailles perfumery school and to worldwide recognition.
All fragrances released by Maison Francis Kurkdjian are considered symbols of high quality, intelligence, refined composition, and deep respect for their admirers.
