Niche Perfume MANCERA

Deep woods, vivid florals, warm spices and sunlit sweetness define the world of MANCERA, a house built around contrasts between Eastern richness and French compositional precision. Pierre Montale founded Mancera in 2008, developing his experience with oriental perfumery into a new project with a more colourful and contemporary identity.

MANCERA gradually evolved into a multigenerational creative collaboration. In 2017, Pierre Montale's daughter Amélie became Artistic Director, bringing her background in photography and visual art into the house. Pierre's knowledge of materials and Eastern perfume traditions now works alongside Amélie's contemporary approach to imagery, colour and design.

Its olfactory palette gives particular prominence to oud, precious woods, vanilla, spices, florals and gourmand facets. Citrus, fruits, musk, leather-like textures and fresher elements broaden the range. Mancera often builds character through contrast: dark woods against luminous petals, spicy warmth against freshness, or rich oriental materials against modern sweetness.

Another defining quality is generous concentration and lasting presence. The house emphasizes intensity, longevity and a memorable trail, while its inspirations frequently come from journeys, encounters, landscapes and personal memories. This allows darker oriental structures and brighter contemporary compositions to coexist naturally within the same creative universe.

The visual identity adds a strong Art Deco influence, expressed through geometry, clear forms, colour and luxurious materials. MANCERA therefore brings together Pierre Montale's Eastern experience, Amélie's artistic perspective and a distinctly Parisian sense of refinement. The result is bold, concentrated perfumery in which Eastern material richness and Western modernity continually meet and reshape one another.
