Automotive precision, the sensation of movement and technical elegance take on a new sensory form in MERCEDES-BENZ perfumery. The fragrance project began in 2011, when French company INCC obtained the licence to develop, manufacture and distribute Mercedes-Benz fragrances worldwide. The first creation arrived in 2012, composed by renowned French Master Perfumer Olivier Cresp.

Ideas borrowed from automotive design are expressed less literally than through clean structure, controlled power, precise proportions and a contemporary sense of luxury. Mercedes-Benz connects its fragrance identity with attention to detail, a fascination with rare and unexpected materials, innovation and craftsmanship. Technology and sensuality are therefore treated not as opposites, but as complementary parts of the same aesthetic.

The olfactory palette has expanded considerably over the years. Citrus and aromatic freshness, green and violet-like facets, woods, vetiver and patchouli coexist with warmer spices, amber-like textures, musks, florals and more sensual structures. The contemporary portfolio ranges from clean and dynamic compositions to deeper, richer styles across both masculine and feminine fragrance.

Mercedes-Benz has collaborated with a broad group of accomplished perfumers, including Olivier Cresp, Dominique Ropion, Anne Flipo, Alberto Morillas, Fabrice Pellegrin and Honorine Blanc. Their different approaches have allowed the fragrance universe to move from sporty freshness and polished urban clarity toward darker woods and more enveloping sensuality while retaining an overall impression of precision.

Today, MERCEDES-BENZ PARFUMS continues to build its identity around innovation, quality and modern design. The brand also highlights the use of recycled and recyclable glass, more responsibly sourced paper, water-based inks and efforts toward more sustainable sourcing of selected raw materials.
