NARCISO RODRIGUEZ

Narciso Rodriguez is an American designer born and raised in Newark, New Jersey, in a family of Cuban immigrants. His Latin cultural background later became an important influence on the way he approached femininity, the body and natural beauty. Rodriguez studied at Parsons School of Design in New York before working at Anne Klein under Donna Karan and later at Calvin Klein. In 1995, he took on design leadership roles at both TSE and Cerruti, and in 1997 he launched his own label, presenting his first women's ready-to-wear collection in Milan. During the same period, he also led women's ready-to-wear design at LOEWE, gradually developing a distinct and highly recognizable aesthetic language.

Rodriguez's fashion is defined by architectural precision, clean lines and an ability to enhance the natural form of the body without relying on excessive decoration. Sensuality in his work is often quiet and controlled, expressed through proportion, material, movement and confidence. The same philosophy moved naturally into fragrance. A formative personal reference was a rare Egyptian musk oil he had known since his youth; when he later shared this material with leading perfumers, musk became one of the central ideas of his fragrance identity. From 2003 onward, his perfume universe developed as an extension of his fashion language, bringing together purity, skin, intimacy and modern sensuality.
