Swiss Arabian was shaped by the meeting of two distinct fragrance cultures. The house combines the richness and sensuality of Arabian perfumery with Swiss precision and a Western approach to fragrance creation, developing an identity that naturally bridges East and West.

Founded by Hussein Adam Ali in Dubai in 1974, Swiss Arabian became the first perfume manufacturing house established in the United Arab Emirates. The “Swiss” part of its name reflects an early connection with Swiss fragrance company Givaudan, while “Arabian” expresses the cultural heritage at the heart of the brand.

Oud, musk, rose, incense, amber facets, spices, and precious woods play an important role in its olfactory palette. These traditional materials are often balanced with fruits, florals, vanilla, and fresher accords, giving Arabian fragrance traditions a more contemporary and versatile expression.

The house continues to work with both highly concentrated, alcohol-free perfume oils and modern spray fragrances. This combination allows Swiss Arabian to preserve the depth of traditional Middle Eastern perfumery while creating scents suited to a broad international audience.
