THE HOUSE OF OUD

The House of Oud was born from the meeting of two different worlds: Italian creative perfumery and the Eastern tradition of working with agarwood. The house emerged through the collaboration of perfumer Andrea Casotti and Jakarta-based oud producer Mohammed Abu Nashi, bringing together travel, culture, craftsmanship, and precious aromatic materials.

Its first fragrances appeared in 2016. Despite the name, the house does not define itself exclusively through oud. Agarwood may take center stage in one composition and become only one layer within a more unexpected structure in another.

The olfactory palette moves through woods, resins, spices, musk, florals, fruits, citrus, vanilla, and gourmand facets. Some fragrances feel dark and mysterious, while others are brighter, sweeter, or more playful, reflecting the creative freedom at the heart of the brand.

The bottles are equally distinctive. Each is hand-painted in Italy, giving individual pieces subtle differences and turning the presentation into something close to a decorative art object. Bold colors and organic shapes have become a recognizable part of The House of Oud identity.
