Zadig & Voltaire is one of the most popular French brands among young people, offering high-quality products. The brand is named after one of the greatest philosophers of the French Enlightenment of the 18th century—a poet, novelist, satirist, historian, journalist, and human rights advocate, the founder of Voltairian philosophy, and the author of many philosophical works, including “Zadig ou la Destinée”. In 2009, the French brand Zadig & Voltaire launched its first perfume, which already broke sales records in France. The fragrance comes in a snow-white bottle decorated with the black silhouette of a fallen angel (the brand’s signature symbol). Zadig & Voltaire perfumes are also presented in unique book-shaped packaging. Combining classic elegance with rock-and-roll aesthetics, the brand’s founder, designer Thierry Gillier, created a strong and confident fragrance.
