Alexandra Carlin is a French perfumer currently working with Symrise, a leading global supplier of fragrances, flavors, and cosmetic ingredients.
She discovered her passion for perfumery at the age of 18 and received formal training at ISIPCA in Versailles in 2002.
After graduating, Carlin spent three years in Grasse working with Robertet. In 2007, she joined Symrise as a junior perfumer and has since collaborated with prestigious brands such as Amouage, Ferrari, and Victoria's Secret.
Her approach to perfumery is highly artistic, inspired by literature and self-expression through movement. She believes raw materials are rich with emotions and enjoys translating atmospheres and places described in books into her creations. Her natural artistic sensitivity and appreciation for movement have also led her to pursue horseback riding and Indian dance.
Her talent and creativity were recognized in 2019 when she received the Luxury & Creativity Centre Award. Some of her notable creations include Immortelle Tribal for L’Atelier Givenchy, Red Power for Ferrari, Honour for Amouage, and 8 Every Moment for Abercrombie & Fitch.
