Angela Ciampagna

Angela Ciampagna is an Italian independent perfumer and co-founder of the niche brand Angela Ciampagna. She was born in Silvi Marina, a coastal town on the Adriatic Sea.

Before launching her own brand, she self-trained in perfumery, creating fragrances for other brands and working on custom projects. In 2011, together with her husband and business partner Enrico Maraffino, she founded Laboratorio Artigianale di Profumeria and began developing her own line.

The debut collection (2015) was dedicated to the small village of Atri. Fragrances such as Ducalis, Aer, Hatria, Kanat, Liquo, Nox, and Rosarium were inspired by everyday life, nature, and architecture.

Later releases included Fauni and Ignes, inspired by the ancient pagan ritual Faugni. She also collaborated with Aura of Kazakhstan, creating The Legend of Tomiris in 2020.

Among her notable works is the De Vita collection, representing three concepts: life (Laetitia), death (Materia), and miracle (Miracula).
