At the age of 17, during a trip to Egypt, I realized I wanted to enter the world of perfumery. I visited a factory producing essential oils from roses and instantly fell in love with this raw material. This experience led me to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, followed by a Master’s at ISIPCA.
After my studies, I worked as an intern in Grasse at a perfume house known for its expertise in natural ingredients. Under the guidance of a senior perfumer, I learned the importance of natural raw materials and the need to preserve and protect them.
My colleagues describe me as “methodically creative,” and I believe this balance is essential for achieving delicate and refined results. I enjoy combining academic rigor with a poetic mindset, especially in personal care projects, while also passionately working on fine fragrances.
The accords I develop in fine fragrance projects often inspire my work in personal care, and vice versa. Recently, I discovered that gourmand accords, traditionally used in personal care, can bring depth and impact to fine fragrances. Ultimately, regardless of the category, inspiration is what matters most.
