“Perfumery is the most abstract form of art, where the artist creating a fragrance uses the palette of their senses and imagery. The viewer/consumer can interact with it in different ways thanks to the emotional richness the artwork reveals. I discovered how my creative soul, initially expressed through poetry and painting, could find its perfect expression by playing with my senses.”

Born into an open and multicultural international environment, Dominique Moellhausen experienced a fascinating diversity of scents and developed a unique sensitivity to different cultures and ethnicities around the world.

Dominique was born in Milan on March 9, 1992, to a Guyanese mother of Dutch origin and a German father.

Education of a free spirit
Dominique Moellhausen likes to call herself a “traveler of life,” always seeking something new and joyfully embracing every moment of the journey. Her home is the “here and now,” a mindset shaped by her cosmopolitan family background. From childhood, she traveled the world with her father, Antoni, president of the family business, and she speaks four languages: Italian and Spanish (native), as well as English and French.

After specializing in modern languages in high school, she lived in London and Paris to study international relations and business. After completing her studies, Dominique chose to deepen her calling in perfumery by attending the Grasse Institute of Perfumery, one of the most prestigious schools in the world. Her path reflects a continuous journey of growth, combining her innate artistic talent with over 50 years of Moellhausen family tradition in the perfume industry.
