Domitille Michalon Bertier

Domithilde Michalon Bertier is a highly qualified Senior Perfumer at IFF with over 20 years of experience in the fragrance industry. She studied at the ISIPCA perfumery school and began working at IFF as an intern in 1994. She gradually advanced and was appointed Senior Perfumer in 2007.

Throughout her career, Domithilde has worked with many prestigious brands, including Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, Dior, Lancome, Marc Jacobs, Viktor&Rolf, and others. Her most famous creations include Viktor&Rolf Flowerbomb, Van Cleef & Arpels Midnight in Paris, and Marc Jacobs Perfect.

Domithilde draws inspiration from cooking, art, travel, and reading. She is known for transforming words, memories, and inspirations into fragrances using her personal scent library.

She is interested in natural ingredients and continuously explores new raw materials to enrich her olfactory palette.

Her favorite scent is iris butter (orris concrete), and she is also interested in working with natural popcorn absolute. She has an original idea combining Timut pepper and vetiver.

Domithilde is Vice President of Perfumers at IFF and is recognized for her intuition, passion, persistence, creativity, and fragrance creation skills.
