Emilie Bevierre-Coppermann is a master perfumer who has dedicated over 20 years to creating fragrances for some of the world’s most prestigious fashion and design houses. Her passion for perfumery began at the age of 14 when she met a perfumer from the Rochas house, and she soon decided to study organic chemistry and perfumery at the renowned International Institute of Perfumery, Cosmetics and Fragrances in Versailles.
Throughout her career, Emilie has received numerous awards and institutional recognition for her unique intuition and ability to create unexpected fragrances. She has worked with brands such as Givenchy, Chopard, Karl Lagerfeld, and Roberto Cavalli, among many others, and is highly respected by both colleagues and the industry.
Emilie is also a devoted mother of four children, managing her family life with the same energy and passion as her perfumery career. She finds inspiration in travel, discovering new places, and constantly reinventing herself to create surprising fragrances.
Her favorite ingredients include rose, bergamot, and various woody notes, which she enjoys combining in unexpected ways to create unique scents.
With her playful and relaxed style, Emilie often “masculinizes” traditionally feminine flowers and “feminizes” typically masculine woods. Her favorite city is Paris, where she grew up, but she also feels a strong connection to New York, Bahia, and Benares.
For her, the idea of paradise on earth is the Zanzibar archipelago, where the beauty of wild nature blends with the grandeur of former sultans’ palaces, all infused with the scents of spices and flowers.
