Hany Hafez

Hany Hafez is a perfumery entrepreneur and the founder of Alexandria Fragrances. He was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt, where he was introduced to the world of scents at a young age. His family owned several shops, and as a child he helped blend oils and create his own fragrances.

After receiving positive feedback from friends and family, Hany decided to open his own shop in 2002. He also worked part-time as a tour guide, which allowed him to share his knowledge of fragrances and guide people to shops and bazaars where essential oils and perfumes could be found.

He ran his shop for eight years before deciding to travel to Europe for a short period. In 2011, he moved to the United States to be closer to his family. Shortly after arriving, he noticed that niche fragrances were often overpriced, and their quality did not always justify the cost.

Using his experience in fragrance creation, he decided to develop his own line of luxury scents with more competitive pricing. After several years of helping others launch their fragrance brands, he founded Alexandria Fragrances in 2017.

Today, Alexandria Fragrances is a fast-growing brand known for high-quality fragrances at accessible prices. Hany’s passion for perfumery and his mission to make beautiful scents available to everyone have made him a respected figure in the industry. He continues to innovate and create new fragrances inspired by the spirit of his homeland, inspiring fragrance lovers around the world.
