Miroslav Petkov is a renowned Bulgarian perfumer who began his journey in the world of fragrances in his hometown of Plovdiv. His ambition to grow internationally eventually led him to leave Bulgaria and pursue his dream abroad. After a year in Argentina, he moved to Spain, where his career truly took off. He gained significant recognition for creating the formulas for Bond No. 9’s B9 and Soho, making him the only Bulgarian in the exclusive circle of the world's most successful perfumers.
Currently working for the Spanish company Iberchem, Petkov focuses on the affluent markets of the Middle East, though his exquisite creations have a global following. His early experiences shaped his creative preference for natural spices and balsams. He believes that "a good perfume is good everywhere" and values the freedom to experiment and explore new nuances despite market demands.
Throughout his career, Miroslav Petkov has collaborated with prestigious brands such as Xerjoff, Attar Collection, Arabesque Perfumes, and Floraïku. Some of his most popular creations include Xerjoff Dolce Amalfi, Attar Collection Azora, Arabesque Perfumes Kohel, and Bond No 9 NoMad.
