Olivier Cresp is a legendary French perfumer, widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in the industry. Born in Grasse into a family with a rich heritage in scents—his great-grandfather grew roses and jasmine, and his grandfather traded natural raw materials—Cresp developed an extraordinary olfactory memory and artistic sensitivity from a young age.
He joined Firmenich in 1992, where he created some of the world's most iconic fragrances, such as Thierry Mugler Angel, Paco Rabanne XS, and Dior Midnight Poison. In 2006, he was named a Master Perfumer, and in 2018, he launched his family-owned brand, Akro.
