Women's fragrances from Olivier Polge

Olivier Polge was born in Grasse and is the son of the legendary Jacques Polge, Chanel's long-time in-house perfumer. Though he initially aspired to be a classical pianist, his passion for art and fragrance eventually led him to perfumery. He studied art history and trained at the Charabot and ACM institutes, building a strong foundation for his brilliant career.

His journey began at IFF, where he co-created iconic scents like Dior Homme and Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb. In 2013, Chanel announced that Olivier would succeed his father as the house perfumer. He is known for his minimalist and disciplined approach, relying on a few key ingredients to create sophisticated, abstract fragrances. His work is often inspired by urban landscapes rather than just nature. Olivier’s impressive portfolio includes global bestsellers such as Lancôme La Vie Est Belle, Dior Pure Poison, Chanel Gabrielle, and the modern iterations of Bleu de Chanel.
