Pascal Gaurin is a prominent French perfumer and Vice President Senior Perfumer at IFF. His extensive portfolio includes fragrances for prestigious brands such as Michael Kors, Vera Wang, and Tom Ford. As a child, Pascal was fascinated by the scents of his surroundings, from food to the earth itself. At age 15, an encounter with a tailor inspired his taste for fine materials and a passion for detail.
Pascal began his formal journey at the prestigious ISIPCA in France before being hired by IFF. Early in his career, he spent two years in Hong Kong, creating fragrances for Asian markets like China and Australia. This cultural immersion taught him humility and provided deep insight into diverse olfactory preferences. In 1997, Gaurin moved to his dream city, New York, where he has continued to build his illustrious career and create iconic scents like Tom Ford Cashmere Musk and Christian Louboutin Loubicrown.
