Philippine Courtiere

Philippine Courtière is a perfumer at Firmenich. Born in Paris in 1986, she grew up in a family deeply rooted in the fashion and fragrance industries. She is the granddaughter of Jacques Rouët, one of the founders of the House of Christian Dior. Her father is a former president of Givenchy's couture division, and her mother also worked in the perfume industry.

Although Courtière studied law at the University of Nanterre-La Défense, she decided to pursue fragrance creation and secured an internship at Robertet in 2007. In 2009, she joined Firmenich as a laboratory assistant and spent the following years training within the company at its offices in Geneva, New York, and Dubai. In 2014, she earned the title of perfumer and began working on projects for major global brands.
