Pierre Guillaume

Pierre Guillaume, a renowned perfumer, grew up in a family of chemists, surrounded by the fascinating world of scents from a very early age. He spent his childhood collecting essential oils and aromatic materials, foreshadowing his future career. This unique upbringing allowed Pierre to develop an innate understanding of olfactory nuances and laid the foundation for his subsequent work in perfumery.

At just 25 years old, Pierre Guillaume began his journey in perfumery by attempting to recreate the scent of his father’s cigar cellar. This experiment led to the creation of "02 Coze," a spicy tobacco accord built on an Epicene-Gamma base. The fragrance quickly caught the attention of critics and professional buyers, bringing him recognition in the perfume blogosphere worldwide.

In 2010, Pierre founded his own company, Pierre Guillaume Diffusion. He equipped it with his own production studio, raw material cellar, and packaging line, dedicated exclusively to the creation of his perfumes. As the company expanded, a second workshop was opened in 2015. Today, Pierre Guillaume Paris is an independent family-owned composition house operating in nearly 390 points of sale across 26 countries.

Pierre's collaborations with other brands include the creation of Daimiris and Esvedra for Laboratorio Olfattivo and the development of 17 fragrances for Phaedon Paris.

Pierre Guillaume’s approach to perfumery is rooted in his background in chemistry and his passion for olfactory exploration. He is known for his contemporary, inventive, and poetic perfumery, always striving to create wearable, high-quality products at realistic prices. Pierre’s work is characterized by his commitment to complete creative and financial independence, allowing him to focus on his artistic vision without external constraints.

Working from his own workshops located in the heart of the Parc Naturel Regional des Volcans d'Auvergne, Pierre develops an eclectic range of perfumery. His collections have grown since his brand's inception, including the Numeraire collection, the Black Collection (launched in 2010), the Cruise Collection (launched in 2015), and the White Collection (launched in 2019).

Pierre Guillaume’s dedication to independent and family-owned perfumery sets him apart from many modern creators. His commitment to quality and creative freedom has allowed him to build a strong, lasting brand that resonates with perfume lovers around the world.
