Rodrigo Flores-Roux was born and raised in Mexico City. His passion for perfumery manifested at a young age, and he decided to study biology in Mexico before moving to France in 1989, at the age of 20, to enroll in the prestigious ISIPCA perfumery school in Versailles. There, he had the opportunity to intern under the renowned perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena.
Rodrigo began his career creating fragrances for shampoos and cosmetic products, but his major breakthrough was the creation of the iconic scent Clinique Happy. Today, he holds the position of Senior Perfumer and Vice President of Fragrance Creation at Givaudan, one of the world's leading fragrance houses.
Throughout his career, Rodrigo has worked with prominent brands such as Tom Ford, John Varvatos, Dolce & Gabbana, DKNY, Hugo Boss, Calvin Klein, Carolina Herrera, Tommy Hilfiger, and Estée Lauder. His unique talent has been recognized with numerous FiFi Awards and led to his induction into the Fragrance Foundation Hall of Fame. His creations are globally acclaimed for their originality and character, with many becoming bestsellers and modern classics.
