Sidonie Lancesseur is a talented and accomplished perfumer who discovered her passion for scents at a young age. As a child, she was captivated by the aromas of the French countryside during family vacations. At the age of 12, a meeting with a family friend working in the perfume industry ignited her desire to express herself through scent. Lancesseur pursued her dream by studying at the prestigious French institution ISIPCA (Institut Supérieur International du Parfum, de la Cosmétique et de l'Aromatique Alimentaire).
After completing her studies, Lancesseur began her career at Robertet, a leading company in the production of fragrances and flavors. She was mentored by the renowned perfumer Michel Almairac, who shared his vast knowledge and experience with her. Throughout her career, Lancesseur has collaborated with numerous prestigious brands, such as Atelier Oblique, Azzaro, Bentley, and By Kilian.
Sidonie Lancesseur is known for her elegantly simple, nature-inspired fragrances, which have earned praise from both critics and consumers. Her most notable creations include Straight to Heaven by By Kilian, 1270 and L'humaniste by Frapin, and Lumiere Blanche by Olfactive Studio.
Lancesseur’s approach to perfume creation is deeply rooted in her childhood memories and love for nature. She has a strong preference for woody scents, such as patchouli and vetiver, which evoke memories of her time spent in the French countryside. Working at Robertet has also allowed her to explore other high-quality raw materials, such as rose.
