Thierry Wasser is a legendary perfumer who has been creating fragrances for over 30 years. He was born in Switzerland in 1961 and grew up in a family connected to the perfume industry. His father was a chemist who worked at Givaudan, one of the world's leading fragrance houses.

Wasser began his career as an apprentice at Charabot, a French fragrance company, before moving to Firmenich. In 2008, he was appointed as the house perfumer for Guerlain, a prestigious French perfume house with a rich history dating back to 1828. Notably, he was the first person to hold this position who was not a member of the Guerlain family.

Since joining Guerlain, Wasser has created many iconic fragrances, including La Petite Robe Noire, Shalimar Parfum Initial, and Aqua Allegoria Mandarine Basilic.
