Zarko Ahlmann Pavlov is a Danish perfumer and the founder of the brand ZARKOPERFUME. His journey into perfumery began over a decade ago when he decided to pursue his long-held dream of studying the art of fragrance creation.
Zarko is widely recognized as Denmark’s only practicing perfumer. His approach is unique, as he combines the traditional rules of French perfumery with modern Scandinavian molecular science. His goal was to create fragrances that capture the Scandinavian climate, lifestyle, and aesthetic.
One of Zarko’s most famous creations is MOLéCULE 234.38, which is based on a single type of molecule that interacts with the wearer's skin to create a personalized scent. His work is characterized by minimalism, yet it possesses a complex technical structure. Pavlov continues to be an innovator, utilizing cutting-edge technology to push the boundaries of traditional perfumery.
