Niche Perfume AFFINESSENCE

AFFINESSENCE is a French niche perfume house created by Sophie Bruneau after years of experience in the fragrance industry. In 2013, she established AFFINESSENCE as a fragrance-creation consultancy before developing it into an independent perfume brand. Her central idea was to challenge the traditional olfactory pyramid and explore a different way of constructing and experiencing perfume.

The house initially placed base notes at the very center of its philosophy — the deep, rich and enduring materials traditionally associated with the later stages of a fragrance. AFFINESSENCE brought them forward, creating intense, sensual and long-lasting olfactory signatures. The concept later expanded to include collections devoted to heart and top notes, while maintaining the same desire to rethink conventional fragrance structures.
