In the same year in New York, the brand’s first collection of leather accessories was presented, created by Etienne Aigner, the founder and ideological inspiration behind the brand.
His passion for leather as a material inspired him, which soon led him to the idea of creating fragrances. Etienne Aigner Cosmetics GmbH was established in 1972.
The brand’s first fragrance, Etienne Aigner No.1, was released later. Although it did not become an immediate top favorite in perfumery, it still managed to attract a loyal audience and ensured a successful debut for the brand in the fragrance world.
