The history of the Givenchy brand began in 1952. The founder of the fashion house is Hubert de Givenchy, who named the brand after himself. He specialized in the production of luxury accessories, clothing, shoes, fashion items, and perfumes.

The style of Givenchy has always been distinguished by luxury and elegance. In 1953, he began collaborating with Audrey Hepburn, who had just begun her acting career at the time, and it became a remarkable experience for both of them. Together, Givenchy and Hepburn created some of the most iconic garments for the brand—designs that remain timeless and are still considered unmatched examples of style. Audrey Hepburn, in turn, famously shined in Givenchy creations in films such as “Breakfast at Tiffany’s.”

In 1995, John Galliano began working at the fashion house. He created not only provocative clothing but also staged extraordinary runway shows. When Galliano later moved to another fashion house, designers changed, but the quality of the brand’s products did not suffer, and it maintained its global reputation and prestige.
