Niche Perfume MONTALE

Montale is a French niche fragrance house founded in Paris by Pierre Montale in 2003. According to the official story, his travels introduced him deeply to Middle Eastern scent culture and particularly to oud, which became one of the defining materials of his creative universe. Returning to Europe, he sought to combine the intensity and material richness of Oriental perfumery with the structure of French haute perfumery.

Montale is characterized by high concentrations, substantial projection and expressive use of materials including oud, rose, leather, musk and amber. Even its metal bottle has a functional heritage, inspired by the aluminum containers traditionally used in Grasse to protect perfume concentrates from light. This created a highly recognizable niche language combining French know-how, Middle Eastern opulence and a nomadic fantasy of travel.
