Pierre Montale founded the legendary Montale brand after returning to Paris from Saudi Arabia, where he had spent three years creating exclusive fragrances for high-ranking sheikhs. During his stay in the Middle East, he was deeply inspired by the region’s culture, atmosphere, and unique identity, which he later began to express through his perfumes.

These experiences became the foundation of his fragrance creations, characterized by an extraordinary and unmistakable olfactory signature.

A distinctive feature of Montale is that, in addition to high-quality blends of fragrant oils, rare plant extracts, and precious woods, the brand does not use alcohol in its perfumes, making them similar to traditional Eastern attars. One of the brand’s greatest prides is its collection based on oud — one of the most valuable and luxurious aromatic woods in the world.
