Nishane draws much of its identity from Istanbul—a city where East and West, history and modern life constantly meet. Founded by Mert Güzel and Murat Katran, the Turkish niche house transformed the cultural richness of its home city into a distinctive approach to artistic perfumery.

The brand was officially founded in 2012, with its introductory collection presented internationally in Milan in 2015.
