Women's fragrances PAUL EMILIEN

Paul Emilien is an independent French fragrance creator born in the Cévennes region in 1966. His first creative languages were drawing and painting rather than perfumery. After years spent developing products and traveling internationally, he decided to establish a fragrance project under his own name. Largely self-taught, he assembled his first experiments in a small laboratory at home while simultaneously thinking about the presentation and design of the future Maison.

His fragrance project was presented at Pitti Fragranze in Florence in 2014 alongside his wife, Anastasia Mathieu. Story and emotion are fundamental to the Paul Emilien philosophy, expressed through the belief that a perfume without a story is a perfume without a soul. Travel, encounters, images and moods become genuine creative material rather than mere marketing decoration. The result feels French, intimate and artisan-oriented — closer to a personal atelier than a large corporate fragrance system.
