ROOM 1015

Rock music, rebellion, and freedom of self-expression define the world of ROOM 1015. The French niche house was created by Michael Partouche, better known as Dr. Mike, a trained pharmacist and musician who turned fragrance into a meeting point between laboratory precision and the emotional energy of music.

The name refers to Room 1015 of Los Angeles’ legendary Continental Hyatt House, a place closely associated with rock musicians, excess, and the free-spirited atmosphere of the 1970s. ROOM 1015 transforms that mythology into a contemporary olfactory language inspired by music, counterculture, and unconventional forms of self-expression.

The house introduced its first fragrances in 2015. Its palette moves between woods, leather, smoke, and spices as well as fruits, florals, musk, and lighter accords. Each composition develops around a separate cultural or emotional idea, drawing inspiration from rock, punk, spirituality, or youthful freedom.

ROOM 1015 has collaborated with perfumers including Amélie Bourgeois, Anne-Sophie Behaghel, Jérôme Epinette, and Jérôme Di Marino. Their different approaches allow the house to explore varied olfactory territories while maintaining its unconventional attitude.

Today, ROOM 1015 represents a freer and more music-driven side of contemporary French niche perfumery. Its fragrances appeal to those who enjoy individuality, cultural storytelling, and scents that deliberately step outside conventional perfume codes.
