For SÃLUM Parfums, the sea is not simply a fresh accord—it is the beginning of a journey. The brand’s name has Latin roots and evokes the open sea, distant horizons, and the freedom to travel. Each fragrance is imagined as a new route toward landscapes, cultures, and places waiting to be discovered.

The Italian niche project was conceived by Massimiliano Minorini, an art director with extensive experience in the fragrance industry. Its first creations appeared in 2023, with the sea established from the beginning as the central theme of the house. The fragrances are crafted in Italy using selected materials and a contemporary approach to niche perfumery.

SÃLUM does not interpret marine perfumery only through freshness and salt. The sea can feel dark and mysterious, bright and tropical, or filled with Mediterranean light. Marine facets are combined with woods, spices, florals, fruits, amber tones, and gourmand nuances, giving the collection a much broader character than conventional aquatic fragrances.

A strong sense of place runs through the brand’s creative language. Inspiration comes not only from water itself, but also from wind, nature, distant coastlines, and the atmosphere of travel. Each olfactory direction therefore creates its own landscape while remaining connected to the wider idea of exploration.
