Anais Biguine

Anais Biguine is a French independent perfumer and the founder of Jardins d’Ecrivains, Gri Gri, and Chapel Factory.

She studied philology and has always been passionate about literature, particularly the life of George Sand. In 2011, she visited the house of Victor Hugo on the island of Guernsey. Deeply inspired by the atmosphere of the house and its garden, she wanted to capture that feeling in a fragrance.

With no prior experience in perfumery, she contacted a laboratory in Grasse and ordered a set of raw materials to begin learning and creating fragrances on her own.
