Ann Gottlieb is a renowned fragrance developer with over 50 years of experience in the cosmetics industry. She began her career at Revlon and later joined Estee Lauder, where she learned the art, science, and business of perfumery under the mentorship of Estee Lauder.
She later became head of product development at Elizabeth Arden and Warner Cosmetics, contributing to the creation of Gloria Vanderbilt fragrance.
In 1983, she founded Ann Gottlieb Associates, a consulting firm specializing in fragrance and product development. Her work includes many iconic fragrances across all market segments, including all fifteen fragrances for Calvin Klein, Chic and 212 by Carolina Herrera, and the Liz Claiborne brand.
She has also created successful mass-market fragrances, working with Unilever brands such as Axe and Impulse, as well as Victoria's Secret and Bath and Body Works.
