Clement Gavarry

Clément Gavarry is a highly skilled and respected perfumer who passionately creates innovative and captivating fragrances. Born in Paris, he inherited a family legacy in perfumery, becoming the fourth generation involved in fragrance creation. His father, renowned perfumer Max Gavarry, introduced him to the world of scents through nature, immersing him in the smells of forests and the sea.

Clément developed his passion for perfumery by earning a master’s degree and a diploma in organic chemistry from ISIPCA in Versailles. He then moved to New York City in his early twenties, which he describes as “one big experiment,” filled with a constant sense of novelty and energy that he loves.

Throughout his career, Clément has worked with some of the most prestigious fragrance houses in the world, including Firmenich and International Flavors & Fragrances. He has also collaborated with well-known brands such as Dolce & Gabbana, Vera Wang, Roberto Cavalli, and Sarah Jessica Parker.

Clément’s approach to perfumery is meticulous and detailed, and he takes the time to truly understand his formulas before achieving the perfect balance. He believes that a fragrance should be an adventure—one that ignites the senses and transports people to another place or time.
