Unisex from Kevin Mathys

Kevin grew up in a village in France and was always fascinated by the world of scents. As a child, he played by mixing perfumes together, which naturally led him to the path of a perfumer. For him, a fragrance is an emotional trigger, allowing him to become a part of the lives of the people who wear his creations. Inspired by scents and intrigued by why some perfumes attract more than others, Kevin was always curious about their construction and asked perfumers many questions. Knowing that fragrance was his industry, Kevin began training online with raw materials.

After studying in Montpellier, he was hired as a perfumer intern at Bell F&F in Leipzig under the mentorship of Sebastian Reuter. Kevin has since started working at CPL Aromas in the Dubai division as a perfumer and is a great asset to the team.

Speaking about the journey of a fragrance, Kevin noted: "The beginning is the most exciting part of the process; I usually have many ideas and I have to choose between them. But the most pleasant part is finding your fragrance on store shelves; that is probably the best reward of all."

Outside of perfumery, Kevin has interests in drawing, nature, swimming, and hiking, which influence his fragrance creation by nourishing the creative process. Kevin especially enjoys working with leather, wood, and amber. He believes these notes create excellent masculine fragrances but also work wonderfully in perfumes for women.
