Nathalie has been fascinated by scents since childhood. When she first encountered Opium by Yves Saint-Laurent, her calling became clear: she had to become a perfumer. The Roure perfumery school (now Givaudan) in Grasse is the most prestigious in the world. In 1983, with her passionate and outgoing nature, Nathalie became the first trainee without a family background in perfumery to be integrated into this program. At that time, trainees came exclusively from Grasse, as perfumery remained a closed family tradition.
Nathalie's career took off in New York while working at Estee Lauder, where she immersed herself in American style, energy, and "hooks." This cosmopolitan spirit enriched her perspective and enhanced her artistic creativity. Throughout her career, she has created iconic fragrances such as Hermes Eau des Merveilles and Azzaro Orange Absolute, later establishing her independent creative lab, L’Art de Parfum.
